I went to this restaurant for some classic Colombian cuisine. I was not disappointed the host manager is very accommodating and kind. The atmosphere was nice and quaint, and the food was pretty good, at a worthwhile price.

Amazing restaurant and service. They gave me a couple of free empanadas when talking to the servers, all of them amazing and funny. Food was great had a "Cazuela de mariscos" and it was perfect! Had a juice of "Guanábana" and the food was so great I took home another plate and another blackberry juice which was great for the road. They make it in front of you so you know it's fresh. 5/5 will surely come back.

Después de dos años de renovación, Ruthmira, quien siempre había soñado con abrir un restaurante, convirtió una galería de arte en el restaurante. Desde su apertura en 2002, El Bochinche se ha vuelto muy conocido en la comunidad por su auténtica comida colombiana y sus famosas sopas. El restaurante también es conocido por su limpieza y por brindar oportunidades de trabajo a quienes las necesitan. El 19 de octubre próximo se cumplirán 21 años de negocio, y la familia está orgullosa de lo que han logrado. Para ellos, El Bochinche no es solo un negocio, es un lugar donde han construido su sueño y han creado un ambiente cálido y acogedor para sus clientes. El Bochinche is a family-owned Colombian restaurant in Philadelphia with a rich history. After two years of renovation, Ruth Mira Giraldo, who had always dreamed of opening a restaurant, converted an art gallery into the restaurant. Since opening in 2002, El Bochinche has become well-known in the community for its authentic Colombian cuisine and especially famous soups. The restaurant is also known for its cleanliness and providing job opportunities to those in need. Next October 19th will mark 21 years of business, and the family is proud of what they have accomplished. For them, El Bochinche is not just a business, it's a place where they have built their dream and created a warm and welcoming atmosphere for their customers.
